Digital camera selection for an optical microscope

The paper presents the techniques for correct choosing of a digital camera for a light microscope taking into account their spatial resolutions. Four types of digital cameras are considered as image sensors for light microscopes: color cameras with Bayer filters, full color cameras, color cameras with Bayer filter and micro scanning and full color cameras with micro scanning. The recommendations for correct choosing of these digital cameras are discussed.
