Devices on the base of photonic crystals

Physics and technical principles of photonic crystals (PC) are presented. Designs and characteristics of PC devices on the base of PC for radio and optic ranges are given. Radiofrequency PCs are used for signal filtering, antenna directivity diagram forming, crosstalk in a microstrip line reducing. Optic devices on the base of PC - miniature splitters, waveguides, switches, lasers and optic diodes, filters, multiplexers, crystal fibers, elements of optic computers.
