Manufacturing technique of enhanced reliability thermoelectric Peltier modules

Evaluation of strength parameters and intrinsic vibration frequencies of thermoelectric Peltier modules (ÒÅÌ) based on Bi-Te-Se-Sb with a unilateral and bilateral clamping of their working surfaces has been performed. Technology of homogeneous crystals of these solutions with figures of merit Zp,n=(3,0...3,2)·10-3 K-1 (Ò=300 K), diameter 28-38 mm, increased mechanical strength and yield ratio 69-75% has been developed. The adhesion properties of electric connecting and anti-diffusion layers have been improved. As a result, TEM with minimum 12000 hours of continuous operation and 3000 hours of cyclic operation have been produced.
