UDC 621.362 Energy performance of permeable thermoelectric coolers based on functionally graded materials Vikhor L. N., Cherkez R. G. Method and outcomes of computer designing of the permeable thermoelements based on functionally graded materials (FGM) for cooling of heat-transfer agent blowing through the channels or pores inside the legs are considered. It has been received that the coefficient of performance of permeable FGM-based thermoelements in 2-3 times is higher, than for traditionally used homogeneous monolithic thermoelements that testify to prospects of such thermoelements usage for gases and liquids cooling.
